So as you probably have gathered from that little post I added on the 16th, I went to Macworld Expo.

The Rev (my good friend from college) drove up to my place from Sunnyvale and met me for breakfast at Country Waffles. After a hearty breakfast including copious amounts of gravy, we headed to the BART station and headed toward Moscone.

I’m going to just cover the major things…

1. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf – I don’t like coffee, but I really like good tea. And they make a tea latte that will knock you out. Don’t even bother ordering it at Starbuck’s or Peete’s. But they make unbelievably good tea latte’s. Special thanks to the Rev

2. Drobo – RAID for everyone. This was probably the coolest thing I saw at the show… and for some time. I want one of these SO bad.

3. Macbook Air – Yeah, it’s impossibly thin, and danged sexy. Not really the machine for me, as I need the graphics horsepower to play SWG on. But for some people, it’s gonna be a great machine.

4. Had dinner with Rev and Spiff at the Cheesecake Factory on top of Macy’s there in the city. It was nice to hang out with them again and talk about everything from computers to kids to music to theology. Reminded me a little bit of the conversations we’d have in Spiff’s room in the wee hours of the night back in college.

All in all, it was quite the nice experience, and I had a blast.
